Your Bose SoundLink® around-ear Bluetooth® headphones are designed to provide years of service with a wide range of mobile devices. Periodic updates may be needed to keep your headphones compatible with products released after the manufacture date of your headphones. All details and instructions are featured below.

First, download the Bose SoundLink® around-ear Bluetooth® headphone update application to your computer.

If you have multiple user accounts on your computer, you may be prompted to input administrator credentials in
order to run the application.

Once downloaded, the application will prompt you to connect your headset to your computer with a micro USB cable. You can use the charging cable provided in the product package or a similar cable you may already own.

Please make sure the Bose SoundLink® around-ear Bluetooth® headphones are fully charged before running the update application.

If Save, select a location for saving the file (Bose_AE2w_BT_Headphone_Update.exe). Then start the application from your hard drive and follow the prompts to perform the update

Wait for your computer to download the file. It will appear on your desktop as a hard drive icon

A window should open. Drag the updater file to the desktop as indicated. (If the window doesn't open, double-click the icon.)

Run the system updater from your desktop and follow the prompts to perform the update
